"Are you ready, Rink?" Hazel walked out of the Testing room and searched the crowd until her eyes landed on her.

I stand up, feeling slightly obvious in my black and white Candor clothes. The woman that called my name is a older than me Dauntless i notice.

I smile at you and bring you into the room. "Sit down, Rink. I'll get the testing all set up in a moment." She motions to a dentist-like chair and turns around, setting up a screen and pouring some sort of drink.

I follow her in and stare at the chair for a second before sitting down, glaring distrusfuly at the liquid she is preparing. "What is that stuff?"

"Candor value honesty, correct?" She turned around and offered you the drink. "It gets you through the test. Also, it tastes like chocolate milk." She sets the lst piece of mmachinery into place and waits for you, watching you intently.

"Yeah, they do." I answer, taking the drink. "Chocolate milk is pretty good." I admit. The way she stares at me makes me uncomfortable, like I'm being squeezed. "So I just drink it?"

"Yep. Just drink it." She sat down, still watching you.

I look down at the liquid sloshing in my cup and take a breath, then swallow.

This room disappears, and you are in another room, where every wall is a mirror. In front of you is a table with a knife and some cheese. There is also a sign, which simply states in letters glowing red "Choose."

"Choose?" I say, looking at the cheese and knife. I walk forward and grab the knife, it's handle is cool and unfamiliar against my palm. I am about to grab the cheese to when it dissapears.

Suddenly you're in an alley, and there is a child stooping over a sleeping man in a bus-stop bench. She is rummaging in his bag, looking for food. The man wakes up and looks at the girl, taking a small weapon and holding it over her threateningly. She shrinks against the wall, trapped. What can you do? The child is young, eleven or twelve, and she lives on the streets.

I wish I had grabbed the cheese. I run over, yelling "Stop!" The man looks my way as I run in between them. He glares at me as he lifts his knife and I shelter the girl.

The man steps next to you and pins the girl to the wall, getting into the position where he could either stab her or violate her. She looks very frightened and small.

I lunge forward with my knife outstretched.

The man turns around, and the alley turns into a park. The man disappears, and a group of your friends come over. "Hey, we're going to the library, want to come?"

I look around, starled for a second before saying "Oh, sure.", and follow them.

Everything fades, and you are back in the testing room with me. I smile at you and tap the screen, making it go blank. "You are free to go."

"Oh... your results." I chewed the bottom of my lip. "Well..."

"Well what??" I am starting to get impatient. Why is she acting as though it's a big deal?

I sigh. "You're Divergent, Erudite and Dauntless." Shrugs. "You are free to go."

"Erudite AND Dauntless? But it's supposed to be one, divergence is, like, bad."
